The MBA Standards Board Code of Ethics
As Certified MBA Professionals™, MBAe™ or MBA+™, we hold ourselves to the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct. We recognize that our actions and decisions as business leaders have far-reaching impacts on our organizations, stakeholders, and society as a whole. Therefore, we commit to the following core principles:
1. **Honesty and Integrity**: We will be truthful in all our professional communications and actions. We will not engage in deception, misrepresentation, or any form of fraudulent behavior.
2. **Responsibility and Accountability**: We take full ownership of our decisions and actions, considering their consequences for all affected parties. We will be accountable for our mistakes and strive to rectify them.
3. **Respect and Fairness**: We will treat all individuals with dignity, respect, and fairness, regardless of their race, gender, age, religion, or any other characteristic. We will foster an inclusive environment that values diverse perspectives.
4. **Objectivity and Independence**: We will maintain objectivity in our professional judgments, avoiding conflicts of interest and undue influence from others. We will act independently in the best interests of our organizations and stakeholders.
5. **Confidentiality and Privacy**: We will protect the confidentiality of information entrusted to us, respecting the privacy rights of individuals and organizations. We will not use confidential information for personal gain.
6. **Competence and Due Care**: We will maintain the knowledge, skills, and competence necessary to provide high-quality professional services. We will act diligently and thoroughly in our work, adhering to applicable technical and professional standards.
7. **Compliance and Legality**: We will comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards governing our profession. We will not engage in or facilitate any illegal activities.
8. **Social Responsibility and Sustainability**: We recognize our duty to act in the public interest and to contribute positively to society. We will consider the social, environmental, and economic impacts of our business activities and strive for sustainable practices.
9. **Continuous Learning and Improvement**: We are committed to lifelong learning, staying current with emerging business trends, best practices, and ethical issues. We will continuously improve our skills, knowledge, and ethical awareness.
As Certified MBA Professionals™, MBAe™ or MBA+™, we pledge to uphold this Code of Ethics in all our professional endeavors. We understand that breaching these principles may result in disciplinary action, including the revocation of our certification. By adhering to this Code, we aim to build trust, credibility, and respect for our profession, our organizations, and ourselves as ethical business leaders.
How to Report Ethical Concerns
If you believe that a Certified MBA Professional™, MBAe™ or MBA+™ has violated the above MBA Standards Board Code of Ethics in anyway, and would like to report that alleged misconduct, you may submit a complaint to our MBA Standards Board Ethics Committee.
The MBA Standards Board reviews complaints from both consumers and professional organizations.
The MBA Standards Board is committed to upholding the highest ethical standards among Certified MBA Professionals™, MBAe™ or MBA+™. Our Code of Ethics provides the framework for ensuring integrity, competence, and accountability. Certified MBA Professionals™, MBAe™ or MBA+™ affirm their adherence to this code, which covers areas such as:
– Acting with honesty and integrity
– Maintaining professional competence
– Avoiding conflicts of interest
– Protecting client confidentiality
– Engaging in fair business practicesUpon receiving a complaint, the Ethics Committee will conduct a thorough investigation following established procedures.
Disciplinary actions may be taken against Certified MBA Professionals™, MBAe™ or MBA+™ found to have violated the Code of Ethics, up to and including revocation of the credential.
The MBA Standards Board believes that this strong ethical foundation is essential for Certified MBA Professionals™, MBAe™ or MBA+™ to best serve the needs of their clients and represent the highest standards of the business profession.

3. Describe with the date, the transaction, event, or situation that has caused you to believe that there is a reason to justify an investigation of this individual for a legal or ethics violation.We appreciate your help in identifying any potential lapses so they can be properly addressed. Your submitted complaints will be handled with diligence and discretion.
Public Disapline Process
The MBA Standards Board shall provide notice to any individual who filed a complaint against a Certified MBA Professionals™, MBAe™ or MBA+™ professional notifying the individual that their complaint is under investigation, or has been reviewed and decided. While we have the authority to remove the designations completely or place the certificant under probation, we have no legal or court authority. All legal matters must be addressed separately through the complainant’s attorney and the courts.
