The Certified MBA™ program is designed to recognize your prior learning, professional experience, and both offline and online coursework—streamlining your journey to a respected business credential that is tailored to your unique background. The Certified MBA™ credential is conferred only after you have fulfilled all academic requirements—including the completion of all designated credits—within either the MBAe™ or MBA+™ program framework. Upon application and formal acceptance of our business ethics code, as well as your commitment to ongoing professional development, you are granted the right to use the Certified MBA™ designation. This process ensures that all credential holders exemplify the highest standards of integrity, expertise, and dedication to continuous learning.
General MBA Core Curriculum ( MBA+™ 27 Credit Hours)
To earn your Certified MBA™ and MBA+™ credentials, you must complete or demonstrate mastery from work experience, prior certifications or courses in the following core business subjects:
Financial Accounting (3 credits): Interpreting financial statements and applying ratio analysis to assess company performance.
Statistics for Managers (3 credits): Quantitative business analysis, including probability, regression, and data visualization.
(Data Analysis courses may be substituted.)
Managerial Economics (3 credits): Applying microeconomic concepts to optimize managerial decision-making.
Operations Management (3 credits): Strategic optimization of production, supply chain, quality assurance, and delivery.
Organizational Behavior (3 credits): Examining individual motivations, team dynamics, and leadership.

Substitutions and Credit for Prior Learning
We frequently substitute equivalent courses or relevant work experience when core content is substantially covered. If you have completed similar coursework or hold professional certifications, simply contact us for a review—our policy is to apply substitutions as liberally as possible to help you maximize credit for your achievements.
General MBA Elective Curriculum (MBA+™ 9 Credit Hours)
In addition to the core, you’ll complete at least 9 credits in one or more MBA specializations. This allows you to focus on in-demand skills and expertise, such as:

Credit Requirements and Academic Rigor
The Certified MBA™ MBA+ requires a total of 36 credits: 27 core + 9 electives. This aligns with top executive MBA programs, which typically require 30–45 credits, ensuring your Certified MBA™ credential meets and exceeds industry standards. Continuing education is encouraged, with annual CE courses allowing you to build up to 64 credits over five years.
How Online Course Credits Are Evaluated
We recognize the value of online learning from platforms like Coursera, EdX, Section, and more. Credit equivalencies are generally mapped as follows:
2–5 hours: 1 credit
6–8 hours: 2 credits
10+ hours: 3 credits
Note: These are guidelines. Final credit awards are based on a detailed syllabus review to ensure substantive coverage of core topics.
Examples of Credit Pathways
Wharton Business Foundations Specialization: Completing this respected 6-course series from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School (approx. $500 total cost) can cover much of the core, with a few additional courses required to reach 27 core credits.
Professional Certifications: If you hold any certifications, for example the CFP® (Certified Financial Planner®), we may grant core credit for your entire CFP® required course group, ensuring your investment in prior education is recognized.
Transfer Credits & Work Experience
We accept transfer credits from accredited colleges, professional certifications, and even relevant work experience. Courses from platforms like LinkedIn, Section, Microsoft, and Google are also considered for credit, subject to review.
Non-business bachelor’s degree holders: Must select 9 core business classes from our MBA curriculum.
Business bachelor’s degree holders: May select from recommended postgraduate electives or specialization courses.
